Job Title: Purchasing Specialist 

Location: On Site, Dubuque, IA 

Exemption: Full-time, Non-exempt

Base Pay Range: $20.00 — $24.00/hour + Bonus 

Shift Time: 1^st Shift: 8:00 AM — 4:00 PM, Monday — Friday

Reports to: Materials Manager

What does Klauer ask of you?

In the Purchasing Specialist role, you will champion the following:

• Work within Klauer ERP and other software programs to maintain accurate records of receipts and product shipments.
• Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.
• Perform buying duties when necessary.
• Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
• Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts.
• Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
• Work with the Materials team to maintain accurate inventory transactions within the ERP system.
• Operate forklifts, hoists, cranes, and other equipment as required.’
• Reconcile accounts and correct discrepancies as they arise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
